Privvy Ledger is a privacy-first expense tracker that keeps your financial data where it belongs — on your device.

No account. No cloud sync. No ads. No third-party trackers. Just a fast, clean ledger that works offline.

── TRACK ──
Log income and expenses with categories, notes, dates, and currency. Edit or delete any entry. Each transaction carries its own currency — log in NGN, USD, GBP, or any of 15 supported currencies.

── BUDGET ──
Set weekly, monthly, or yearly spending caps per category. Get a push notification when you hit 80% and again at 100% — only when you actually cross the threshold, not every time you open the app. An in-app notifications center keeps the full history; tap any alert to jump to the budget that triggered it.

── INSIGHTS ──
Cashflow bar chart, spending breakdown by category, and KPIs (income, expense, net, savings rate). Switch between week, month, year, or all time.

── CUSTOMIZE ──
Make it yours. Create your own income and expense categories — pick a name, icon, and color. Edit or delete any category, including the defaults.

── SEARCH & FILTER ──
Find any transaction instantly. Filter by date range, amount range, or category — across your full history, not just recent entries.

── SECURITY ──
PIN lock on every open, with brute-force protection (escalating cooldown after 5 wrong attempts, automatic wipe at 20). Enable Face ID or fingerprint to skip the PIN every time. Auto-lock kicks in when you background the app (configurable: instantly, 30s, 1m, 5m, or never). On Android, the app-switcher thumbnail shows the Privvy logo on a brand-blue card — the live ledger never leaks into recents.

── BACKUP ──
Export an AES-256-GCM encrypted backup file and save it to Google Drive, your phone, or anywhere you like. Restore it on any device with the same password. Without your password, the file is completely unreadable.

── EXPORT ──
Export transactions to CSV or a branded PDF statement via the system share sheet — choose any period (this week, this month, this year, or all time).

── RECURRING ──
Schedule daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly entries (rent, subscriptions, salary). The app catches up missed cycles automatically.

Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up yourself.

What’s new

Receipt scanning stays the marquee `1.4.0` feature, but `1.4.1` tightens the parser so more bank receipts map the right fields.

- Better labeled-field extraction for bank transfer receipts.
- Improved merchant vs sender selection across Kuda, PalmPay, Access, VFD, OneBank, and similar layouts.
- Description/memo text is preserved more faithfully when pre-filling notes.

Notes:
- No new UI surface in this release.
- Camera capture and image upload still share the same offline OCR path.
