Know when your bus is coming — and whether you will get a seat.

SG Commute Buddy shows live bus arrival times for every bus stop in Singapore, straight from LTA DataMall. It adds the one thing most bus timing apps leave out: how full the bus already is before it reaches you.

LIVE BUS ARRIVAL TIMES
• Next three buses for any stop, refreshed every 30 seconds
• Green, amber or red for seats available, standing available or limited standing
• How far away the bus is, in metres, when the operator broadcasts its position
• Save the stops you use every day and see them all on one screen

WILL I GET A SEAT?
The crowd level comes from the bus operator's own load data, not from a guess. A green dot means seats. Amber means you will be standing. Red means it is already packed and the next one may be the better bet. The same colour code runs through the whole app, so it means the same thing everywhere.

TRIP PLANNER WITH REAL FARES
• Door-to-door routes from OneMap, Singapore's official mapping service
• The actual fare in Singapore dollars, not an estimate
• Every leg drawn on a map: which bus, how many stops, how far you walk
• Options ranked by time, number of changes and how crowded each leg is

• Service disruption alerts for every MRT and LRT line
• Platform crowd density on the lines that publish it
• Interchanges and platform changes shown inside each route

Your next buses without unlocking the phone. Pick which saved stops it follows, tap the time to refresh it on the spot.

ALERTS THAT ARRIVE BEFORE YOU DO
• Tell the app to warn you when a specific bus is a few minutes away
• Service disruption alerts for the lines you care about
• Heavy rain warnings from the NEA two-hour forecast, near the stop you start from

YOUR COMMUTE, COUNTED
Log a trip and the app works out the distance you covered and the CO2 you avoided by not driving. Badges mark the milestones. Nothing is counted until you confirm you have arrived.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
• No account. Nothing to sign up for.
• No location permission — the app cannot read your GPS, because it never asks for it. You choose your stops by name or by code.
• No analytics and no tracking SDK. Your saved stops, trips and history stay on your phone and are never uploaded.
• Searching a stop works offline, from a local copy of the bus stop list.

WORKS WITH EVERY OPERATOR
SBS Transit, SMRT, Tower Transit and Go-Ahead — all bus services, all 5,000+ stops, because the data comes from LTA directly.

SUPPORTED BY ADS
The app is free and carries ads on secondary screens. There is no banner on the home screen or while you are planning a trip.
