Al-Muaiqly obtained a master’s degree in 1425 AH in jurisprudence at the College of Sharia at Umm Al-Qura University. Al-Muaiqly also obtained a doctorate in interpretation. Maher is currently working as a professor of judicial studies at the College of Studies and Regulations at Umm Al-Qura University.
