About this app

Departly tracks the train you actually catch.

Set your home station, your work station and the time you usually leave. From
6am, Departly finds your normal train, shows the next couple as backups, and
tells you in plain English if there is a problem — running late, delayed, or
cancelled — before you have left the house.

EVERY UK STATION, AND THE TUBE
Search any National Rail station in the country. Departly uses live National
Rail data for rail journeys and TfL data the moment either end of your commute
is a Tube, Overground, DLR or Elizabeth line stop, so a mixed journey works the
way you would expect. A chip on screen tells you which is which.

YOUR NORMAL TRAIN, NOT A DEPARTURE BOARD
A station board shows you everything leaving in the next hour. Departly shows
you the one train you care about, and the two behind it in case it goes wrong.
If your usual has already gone, it says so and moves to the next.

ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN FROM 6AM
An ongoing, high-priority notification carries the next train and its status,
updating in place through the morning and clearing when your window has passed.
On most mornings you never open the app at all.

SAVED TRIPS, WATCHED BOTH WAYS
Add a journey you care about — a match, a flight, a hospital appointment — and
Departly watches the outbound and the return from the morning of travel, and
tells you if either is running late.

NO ACCOUNT, NO ADVERTS, NO TRACKING
There is no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. Departly does not ask for
your location. Your two stations and your usual departure time are stored on
your device, and nothing else about you is stored anywhere.

Departly is not affiliated with National Rail or Transport for London. Live
data is provided by the Rail Data Marketplace and the TfL Unified API.
