About this app
Get on your bike or just start running. BikeActive will accompany you on every tour. Turn on the app and start your measurement. It's that easy to observe the traveled distance and time of your activity.
Do you have a smartphone holder on your bicycle? Use the bicycle speedometer and also the integrated bicycle bell. Try the different sounds and clear your way.
Low on power? BikeActive will continue a started measurement in standby. A notification on your phone will show you the current distance and duration of the tour.
Displays:
- current speed (speedometer)
- average speed
- maximum speed
- GPS status
- duration of activity
- traveled distance
- supports miles and km
- flashlight
- local history of previous tours (delete individual entries with long click)
- total traveled distance (e.g. for maintenance cycles for e-bikes)
No registration required. BikeActive does not collect any personal data!
Important notice: This app uses your integrated GPS-receiver in your smartphone. Every GPS-receiver has certain inaccuracies. An algorithm to improve measurement results is used, but still they will never be 100% exact.
Please use BikeActive only with a roadworthy bike. The bell functionality is not a replacement for a physical bell.

The word "PAUSE" pops up on the screen mostly covering the "Duration" reading. I can't find a way to shrink it or move it so I might just end up uninstalling this app. Too bad because it's pretty good otherwise.

Nice app for biking. 1 star off because when I pause my ride, the total distance seems to go back to zero when I resume riding. I had a 2hr bike ride which is around 22 miles but only recorded 7 miles.

While I stand in one place and start it , it show like I am moving, the speedometer shows 1 to 6 is my speed . But I didnt move at all

The speed is reported by the internal GPS sensor. I am only showing the sensor data for current speed. Depending on your location the speed data can be unreliable, e.g. Between large buildings or indoors.
