"Can I?" With Okilou, the answer is already written. As a family you agree on the conditions (homework done, reading, a tidy room) and on what they open up: screen time, an outing, an activity of their choosing. Your child checks off their wins, you validate in one tap, the app checks and unlocks. Nothing left to renegotiate with every request: you get to be the parent again, Okilou is the referee.

★ AN AGREEMENT KEPT, NOT A POINTS ACCOUNT
A reward chart can be two very different things. An account: a balance that goes up and down, minutes taken away when the day goes badly, everything up for haggling. Or an agreement: conditions set together, checked, and kept. Okilou is the second one, and that is not a turn of phrase. There is no balance anywhere in the app: points open a tier, they are never spent, and nothing can take them back.

★ WHAT OKILOU WILL NEVER DO
• Take back what was earned. A slip-up is noted, you talk about it, it gets repaired. No counter goes down, no debt carries over to tomorrow.
• Punish on your behalf. The app states facts, in positive wording. Reminders go to the parent, never to the child.
• Watch your child. Okilou reads nothing on the device, blocks nothing, measures nothing: it only knows what it is told.
• Live off your data. Zero ads, zero trackers, nothing resold. An app that can live on your child's tablet with no hidden agenda.

★ HOW IT WORKS
1. You agree together. Start from an age-based template (3 to 17), then adjust everything: conditions, points, tiers, repairable slip-ups.
2. Your child checks off their wins. On your phone, or on their own tablet, paired with a QR code, with no account or password for them.
3. You validate in one tap. Straight from the notification, or automatically for routines you trust.
4. What was agreed unlocks. A tier reached opens a choice of activity; screen time starts when you say so.
Rules are adjusted calmly, for tomorrow. Never in the middle of a request.

★ FAR MORE THAN SCREEN TIME
• The menu is yours: game minutes, a bedtime story, a pool trip, an outing with friends, a moment together.
• Your child suggests their own wishes; you accept in one tap and they join the menu.
• Screens are not even required: the template we ship for ages 3 to 5 offers no screen minutes at all.

★ CHILDREN HAVE A SAY
• They do the checking off: you validate a fact, you do not invent it.
• A refusal leaves a trace and they can declare again. Nothing is silently unchecked.
• They see their gauge and the detail behind every number: nothing is worked out behind their back.
