AudioBookly is a local-first audiobook player for people who own their audiobooks. It reads the files already on your device — no accounts, no cloud, no subscriptions.
Zero-configuration import
Point AudioBookly at any folder and it finds your audiobooks automatically. There's no folder structure to set up: MP3, M4A, M4B, AAC, OGG, and FLAC are detected and sorted without you reorganising a single file. AudioBookly never moves, renames, or deletes your files — it works from a read-only copy of your library.
Metadata that fixes itself
Covers, titles, authors, and descriptions are read from your files' embedded tags and M4B chapters, then enriched automatically from Audible, Open Library, and Google Books. Every field shows where it came from and how confident the match is, so you always know what to trust. Anything you correct by hand can be locked against future overwrites, and you can optionally write tags back to the file with a backup taken first.
A library that feels like a bookshelf
Browse a cover grid or a dense list, search and filter by what's new, started, or finished, and group by series, genre, or author. No cloud folder to keep in sync — it's all on your device.
