EVAbuddy is Hemobuddy’s little sister.
It uses the VAS (Visual Analog Scale) — here in digital form: a simple tool to express pain, always at hand.
With version 2.0, EVAbuddy becomes a personal pain journal: it no longer just measures the moment, it also keeps the memory of your experience.
🟥 Slide the red dot on a vertical scale, from “no pain” to “maximum imaginable pain.”
🔒 The exact score can remain hidden (to avoid influence) or be revealed depending on the mode: short tap (self-assessment) or long press (assisted).
💾 Each score can be saved with a free note and the episode type (chronic, event, other).
📊 A history lets you review your entries, with search and filters (by intensity, type).
⚙️ A Settings screen personalizes the experience (tap/long press mode, haptic feedback).
✨ Ideal for:
✅ Children who cannot yet use numbers (too young, learning difficulties, dys, non-verbal…).
✅ Teachers, caregivers, childminders… anyone looking after children daily.
✅ People living with chronic conditions: endometriosis, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, cancer, hemophilia…
✅ Post-surgery recovery, long-term illness, or life accidents (falls, sprains, fractures…).
✅ Family caregivers and loved ones providing daily support.
🌱 A gentle and caring app
EVAbuddy is not here to judge, but to listen to your pain.
You can confide in it, write down what you feel, and keep a record.
It’s a tool for you, and if needed, a support to communicate more easily with healthcare professionals.
⚠️ EVAbuddy is a support tool, not a medical device.
