See which percentile your income or household net worth falls into in your own country.
Every figure comes from official statistics in 8 countries: the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Ireland.
Everything is calculated on your phone. Nothing you enter is stored or sent.
HOW IT WORKS
- Pick a country and choose Income or Net worth.
- Enter a yearly pre-tax income (individual) or a household net worth in that country's currency.
- See "Top N%" for that country, plus the published cut-offs just above and below you.
WHAT YOU COMPARE AGAINST
- Income: individual earners or taxpayers, before tax.
- Net worth: households (assets minus debts).
Each country's screen says exactly which group and year you are compared with.
HONEST ABOUT THE DATA
- When a published table is coarse, you get a range such as "Top 30-40%" instead of a made-up exact number.
- Beyond the edge of a published table, the app only says "within the top 10%" or similar.
- The app converts the published tables into percentiles. The agencies listed do not endorse this app.
