About this app

Devotion Lock: Bible Study, daily devotionals & Prayer

Choose God before distractions.

Devotion Lock is a Christian app blocker that helps you build a consistent habit of daily Bible study, prayer, devotionals, and quiet time with God by blocking distracting apps and websites until you've completed your time with God.

Read the Bible in the app, use your physical Bible, follow a daily devotional, pray, reflect on Scripture, and build a lasting habit of seeking God first.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose your devotion schedule
Set morning, afternoon, or evening devotion times that fit your routine.

2. Select apps to block
Choose distracting apps you want locked during devotion time.

3. Enable website protection
Block distracting websites and social media while you're spending time with God.

4. Turn on Temptation Guard
Block adult websites to help guard your mind from temptation and encourage prayer when temptation arises.

5. Choose how you want to meet with God

• Read the Bible — read Scripture in the built-in Bible.
• Physical Bible — read your own Bible, then capture the open pages to verify your reading.
• Guided Devotion — complete a Bible devotional with Scripture, a lesson, reflection, and prayer.

WHY DEVOTION LOCK?

Social media, entertainment, endless scrolling, and notifications can easily replace time with God.
Devotion Lock creates healthy digital boundaries for Christians who want a stronger daily rhythm of Bible reading, daily prayer, Scripture study, devotion, and quiet time with God. Instead of opening distracting apps, you're encouraged to spend time in God's Word first.
It isn't just an app blocker. Devotion Lock combines a Christian app blocker, prayer lock, Bible reader, daily devotional, and prayer app experience for Bible study, Scripture reading, devotionals, focused prayer, and intentional Christian screen time.
Whether you want a morning Bible devotional, a daily devotional habit, prayer before social media, or more focused time with God, Devotion Lock helps you put faith before distraction.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Devotion Lock uses Android's Accessibility Service only for core app and website blocking. It detects protected apps and supported websites, displays the blocking screen during scheduled devotion time, and keeps protection active until your devotion is completed or Emergency Unlock is used.
