Locked in? Use the time machine.
Echo is a puzzle game about teaming up with yourself. The door only opens while someone stands on its button, and you can't be in two places at once. So tap Go back: you are back at the start, and your past self does exactly what you did. It holds the button while you walk through the door. Plan the right moves for each past self and you all escape together.
If you like logic puzzles, brain teasers and turn-based strategy, this is a new twist: every puzzle is about timing, and the help you need is you, a few moves ago.
HOW IT WORKS
• Move one tile at a time with the on-screen pad or a swipe
• Go back in time up to three times: each past self repeats your exact moves
• Every past self starts at move 1, alongside you and the others
• Get the timing right: arrive too early and the door is still shut, too late and it has closed again
• Coached first levels and a How to play page with animated examples of every rule
180 LOGIC PUZZLES IN 12 WORLDS
Each world adds a new idea:
• Striped doors that close when their button is pressed
• Switches that remember their state
• Guards who can see you, but not your past selves
• Crates that hold buttons down for good
• Teleporters and one-way tiles
• Ice that sends you sliding
• Timer doors that open and shut on their own
• Mirror levels where your past selves swap left and right
• Keys that whoever reaches first gets to carry
• Phantom portals that only your past selves can use
Every level is checked by a solver, so there is always a way out. Puzzles start gentle and build up to brain teasers that need all three past selves in the right place at the right moment.
MORE TO PLAY
