■ When is the money deposited after selling stocks? — We count those days for you.
For overseas stocks, it takes T+1 settlement and currency exchange after selling, whereas for domestic stocks, it takes T+2. It takes that long for your funds to become available for withdrawal, and if holidays like Chuseok or Seollal fall through, it gets delayed by several more days. While the withdrawal date for credit card bills and loan interest is fixed, it is difficult to count by hand whether the money will actually be in your account by that day. If you are even one day late, you miss that month's withdrawal date.
SellBuyDay calculates in both directions.
· If you enter the selling date → The date funds become available for withdrawal, and the date the Korean Won is deposited into your account.
· If you enter the withdrawal date → The last selling date and the closing time of that day.
■ There are days when the "usually 2 business days" are off.
This is because there is not just one calendar. Bank business days, the opening days of the Korea Exchange (KRX), and the opening days of the U.S. stock market (NYSE) are all different. Even if you have sold overseas stocks, currency exchange is not possible if Korea is on a holiday, and on December 31st, the stock exchange is closed even if banks are open. There are also days off that are unique to the U.S., such as Thanksgiving.
Sell Buy Day checks three calendars separately. In months with holidays, the schedule is delayed by up to three or four days compared to standard calculations, and those few days determine whether you meet the withdrawal deadline or miss it.
■ Compare the three paths side by side
· Selling — The last sale date and closing time. Even what and how many shares to sell
· Transferring — Which account to transfer how much and by when
· Borrowing — The last application date for the loan you have noted
Since all three lines for the same withdrawal date are displayed together, you only need to adhere to the earliest one.
■ Use it even without stocks
If you simply record withdrawal dates—such as loan interest or credit card bills—and your account balances, it will tell you which accounts are short and when you need to replenish them. Stocks are merely one of the means of financing.
■ It performs the following functions:
· If you enter a sale date, it displays the withdrawal date for domestic and overseas stocks and the KRW deposit date.
· If you enter a withdrawal date, it displays the sale deadline and time.
· It reflects T+2 for domestic stocks, T+1 for overseas stocks (US stocks), and the currency exchange processing time.
· It calculates bank, exchange, and US stock market holidays and long weekends separately.
· It reviews balances by account and organizes where funds are lacking and where to transfer them.
· It calculates how much you are currently short on funds and how many shares of what you need to sell.
· Records of buying and selling are reflected in the account balance — purchase proceeds are counted as outgoing funds.
· It sends notifications starting three days before the sale deadline and one day before the transfer deadline (you can set the desired time).
· It does not send sale warning notifications on weekends or public holidays when selling is not possible.
· It displays the current price and rate of change of your holdings, along with KOSPI, KOSDAQ, Dow, NASDAQ, and exchange rates.
■ You can customize the calculation criteria yourself. Yes
Payment and currency exchange schedules vary depending on the brokerage firm and account type. The default values are based on actual exchange history from a specific brokerage firm, and you can adjust the exchange processing time and sale closing time to suit your account in the settings tab. For loans, if you manually enter "how many days it takes after application," the final application date is counted based on that number.

■ Free Trial and Subscription
While the date your credit card bill is due is fixed, it is difficult to count by hand when you need to make the move to secure the funds by that day, as the holidays for banks, exchanges, and the US stock market vary. Even a single day's delay means you cannot meet the withdrawal date for that month. SellBuyDay counts those last days and times for you.
