About this app
MeliMapa was developed to assist meliponiculturists, researchers, and enthusiasts of native stingless bees in managing and monitoring bait hives in the field.
With the application, it is possible to register different types of traps and baits used to capture swarms, including PET bottles, gallon containers, INPA boxes, and other structures used in nature. All information is organized in one place, facilitating the monitoring of activities and decision-making.

Offline operation
MeliMapa was designed for use in rural areas, forests, and locations with little or no internet coverage. The application works offline and uses only the device's GPS to record and track the location of the bait hives, allowing fieldwork even without access to mobile networks or Wi-Fi.
