Just got the unit. Seems fine, but thinking it must be a marketing ploy. You have to give your info 3x just to get the link to download the app, which is the ONLY way to turn on unit - no manual switch. Then app is basic asf and loud asf too. So far, 3 out of 4 tries app can't find the unit, because seems you only connect via Bluetooth if you're 5 inches away from unit. How did this get 4.5 stars on Amazon by so many people - now I know "review bots" are a real. Ugggh!

App is very inconsistent and most of the time you can't connect to the unit. This is way to pricey not to have a manual option to turn it on. Hoping customer service will have a resolve. I've had this unit less than a year

Just got it today and app definitely needs alot of improvements! Fails to connect for a while. Once you do connect, adjust settings, it works ok for a few then disconnects all over again. I may just return the damn thing!
