A kingdom that burned away its fear. Now the ash falls like snow.

The Kingdom of Velos burned the fear of all its people in the Ashfire, a pale flame that consumes nothing but fear. The burned fear did not vanish. Seventeen guardians swallowed it between them, and they have since gone mad, beasts hiding in their own lands.
You are one of the few who still feel fear, and for that you were locked away. Only you can hunt the guardians.

■ Boss fights about reading patterns
• Every boss has its own tells and attack chains
• Dodge roll, guard, perfect guard, heavy attacks and skills
• You will fall at first. Learn the pattern and overcome the same boss through skill

■ Death is how you learn
• When you fall, you drop your Ash where you died. Go back and reclaim it
• Rest at a bonfire to recover, but the dead rise again
• Labyrinth stages woven with shortcuts, locked doors, keys and hidden walls

• 18 weapons, 20 armors and over 30 amulets and rings
• Fire, frost, lightning and poison elements with status effects
• Upgrade gear with boss materials and offer Ash at the Ashfire Sanctuary to grow stronger
• Poise breaks, parries, dodge counters, combat skills: your gear changes how you fight
