About this app

Manage the madness!
Bracket Tracker allows you to create as many brackets and pools as you'd like. Challenge your friends or co-workers. Check the latest scores and keep up with the standings. Supporting both the men's and women's college basketball tournaments in March.

Features:
* Custom scoring including seed scoring. Award any number of points for wins in each round. Optionally include the seed as a bonus for upsets.
* Locking groups at tip off is optional. Brackets and pools can be created anytime before or after tip off.
* No limits on how many brackets and pools you create. If you're still collecting paper brackets for your group you can put them all in Bracket Tracker to keep the standings up to date for you.
* Themes! Tired of your bracket app having the colors of a rival team? Change it!
* "Speculate" allows you to fill in upcoming games in the results bracket to see how they impact your standings.

Thanks to Lee Wells for his time designing the new layout. I've been thrilled with it and I hope you are as well.

I've used this bracket tracker for years, and I think it's just the right amount of complexity to be a useful tracker, and the right amount of simplicity to get even the most ardent Luddite using an app. I would like to suggest the following features: (1) Allow brackets to be renamed. (2) Allow pools created before the first tip-off to accept brackets created after tip-off. In our pool, we use paper brackets for the "master copy" since not everyone has smart phones, and it's a minor annoyance to have to wait until the first tipoff to create the pool (since we manually put in the brackets for those people who turn them in by hand). (3) From the bracket view, show the scores for games (basically the results bracket along side the picks). (4) A refresh function from the pool view. Sometimes, I can't seem to get the brackets to refresh without closing the entire app and re-opening it. (5) I'm not sure this is possible, but an "import feature" from the ESPN bracket app (some people are more comfortable with the ESPN app, and this would make it easier for them to quickly join our pool in this app). Thank you so much for all your work on this app!

Thanks for the feedback. It's what makes the app worth doing. 2, 3 and 4 are pretty high on my to do list so they should definitely be in next year. I'll add 1 to my list. 5 would definitely have some challenges.

Overall a decent simple app, and developer has repeatedly responded quickly. Makes it easy to track both game scores and bracket standings within my family's pool. Still missing a few small optional settings... For example would be nice to be able to add in the rat tail predictions, even if I'm not included in the global standings.

Thanks! I have been considering how the first four could be included but worry it would get confusing. Conveying why some brackets lock before others, pulling both types of bracket into something like the global standings, those sort of things would likely lead to some non-obvious behaviors.

Not sure what happened. We have been using for a few years at work and although the layout is nice and it's easy to make your bracket, before, you could look at your bracket and know who was winning games that are currently being played because the winning team was highlighted green, now the only way to know is to check the current scores page. The problem with this is when you check that page, you have to know exactly who you picked to win. Bring back speculation and I will be happy too.

The update to include Speculate is available now. Highlighting in the bracket should be the same as it always has. Some devices allow you to install custom fonts and some fonts don't support the red and green text like I use in the bracket view. Hopefully that helps. If not feel free to email me and we can try to figure out why it's not there.
