DiagBimmer is a professional-grade OBD2 scanner and diagnostic app for BMW and MINI vehicles. Built for independent technicians, enthusiasts, and workshop mechanics outside the dealer network, it gives you dealer-level control right from your pocket.

COMPATIBLE VEHICLES

BMW 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Series (F-series 2010+ and G-series 2018+), X1-X7 models, M-Performance and M-series, MINI Cooper F-series.

Note: E-series (1999-2014) is not supported — the app requires UDS.

ADAPTER REQUIREMENTS

BLE, Bluetooth Classic, Wi-Fi, USB and ENET (Ethernet) OBD-II adapters are supported — ELM327 v1.5+ compatible. An adapter is needed for a real car, but not for the demo vehicles.

SAFETY & LIABILITY

DiagBimmer must not be operated while the vehicle is in motion. Service actions run with the vehicle stationary, parking brake applied, and the transmission in Park or Neutral.

Parking brake service mode is the exception: it releases the parking brake so the pads can come out, so chock the vehicle first. The app warns continuously while the brake stays disabled.

Every write asks for confirmation first, except ones that restore a factory setting, stop a running routine, or repeat a step you already approved.

Expert-level tools write to vehicle modules — forced DPF regeneration, parking brake service mode, coding writes, and the Hex Terminal. They are for technicians who understand the commands they send; damage from improper use is the user's responsibility, see the Terms of Use.

DiagBimmer is independent of BMW AG, BMW dealerships, and any authorized service center.

BUSINESS MODEL — NO SUBSCRIPTIONS

DTC reading, live data, monitors and VIN are free. Everything else unlocks with ONE purchase (lifetime IAP). No subscriptions, no ads, no trackers.

Try before you buy: two built-in demo vehicles run entirely on your device — no adapter, no car needed. While a demo is connected the paid features are unlocked, so you can see exactly what you would be buying; they lock again when you leave. PDF reports, telemetry CSV export and Hex Terminal sending always need the purchase.

PRIVACY FIRST

DiagBimmer sends no data to remote servers. Your VIN, trouble codes, telemetry and all diagnostic data stay on your device. The Google Play IAP receipt is processed by the store for purchase verification only. No crash reporting or analytics SDK.
