About this app

Diagnosica is a training simulator for medical students and junior doctors. You take a history from an AI patient, order tests, look at the results, then commit to a diagnosis and a management plan and see how your reasoning held up.

Educational use only. Diagnosica is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Every patient is fictional. Always rely on qualified clinical judgement and supervision for real patient care.

HOW A CASE WORKS

1. Take a history
Speak or type to an AI patient who stays in character and answers the way a real person would, including the things they only mention if you ask.

2. Examine and investigate
Order the bloods and imaging you actually want, and read the results yourself.

3. Diagnose and plan
Commit to a diagnosis and a management plan, the way you would have to on the ward.

4. See your scorecard
Get scored on the competencies that matter, with the reasoning behind each mark, so you can see where your thinking went wrong rather than just what the answer was.

WHY IT HELPS

Most revision tools test whether you can recognise the answer. Diagnosica tests whether you can reach it: asking the right question, ordering the right test, and committing under uncertainty. You can practise a full consultation on your own, at any hour, without a partner or a simulation suite.

• Case history: re-open any case you've finished, read its scorecard, and compare your attempts.
• Hints: a small pool of hint points per case for when you're stuck. They never name the diagnosis and never change your score.
• Key findings: what mattered in the history shows up as you uncover it, with a counter.
• The library now asks before restarting a case, and offers resume or review instead.
