Sign up and your first minutes are on us: $1.00 of free calling credit lands on
your balance — about two minutes to Iran — and signing up with your phone
number puts it there straight away.

Dial98 connects you to any landline or mobile number in Iran, from anywhere in
the world, over your internet connection. The person you call does not need an
app, an account, or even a smartphone — their phone simply rings, the way it
always has.

ONE RATE, AND NO SURPRISES AFTER THE FIRST MINUTE
Every number in Iran, landline or mobile, is 50 US cents a minute. Calls have a
one-minute minimum, and after that they are charged a second at a time — so a
90-second call costs 75 cents, not a full two minutes. Many calling apps round
every call up to the next whole minute, for the whole call. We only do it once,
at the start. There is no connection fee, no per-call surcharge and no monthly
commitment.

NO HIDDEN FEES
The rate for the number you are about to dial is shown in the app before the
call connects, along with how many minutes your balance will cover. Calls that
ring out, come back busy or fail to route are never charged. Your credit does
not expire while your account is open.

IT WORKS WHEN THE INTERNET IN IRAN DOES NOT
When internet access inside Iran is throttled or shut off, messaging apps stop
working — but the telephone network keeps running. Dial98 places an ordinary
phone call to an ordinary phone. Only you need a connection; the person you are
calling does not need one at all.

A REAL NUMBER, NOT A RANDOM ONE
Your call reaches Iran from [phone], a Canadian telephone number that
Dial98 owns, so what appears on your family's handset is an ordinary number
rather than a hidden or scrambled string of digits. It is the same number for
every Dial98 caller, and Dial98 places outgoing calls only — that number does
not take calls back.

WHAT DIAL98 IS NOT
Dial98 is an internet calling app for reaching Iran. It is not a replacement
for your mobile carrier, it does not receive incoming calls, and it cannot be
used to call emergency services. It does not read your phone's contacts, call
log or messages, and contains no advertising and no third-party trackers.
