dibbed is the fair, fast way to hand out anything limited. Create a drop, share one link in your group chat, email or Slack, and people tap to claim a spot. First come, first served, with no spreadsheets, no "I replied first!" arguments, and no lost messages.

How it works

Create a drop: give it a title, details, photos, and how many spots there are.
Share the link anywhere. It shows a rich preview in WhatsApp, iMessage and more.
People tap "Call dibs" and get their spot number instantly.
When it's full, everyone else joins the waitlist. If someone releases a spot, the next person in line gets it automatically.
For guests
• Claim in seconds with just your name and mobile number, with no account needed
• Or continue with Google or Apple to keep all your dibs in one place
• Claim more than one spot if the host allows it, or pick the exact spot you want
• Add a short note for the host
• Release a spot any time so the next person gets it

For hosts
• First come, first served, or approve each claim yourself (great for shifts)
• Let people pick their spot from a grid, or hand spots out in order
• Set a limit per person to keep things fair
• Add an optional end time, or close and reopen whenever you like
• See who's in, with names, numbers and notes visible only to you
• Export your list as a spreadsheet (CSV)
• Duplicate a drop to run it again next week

Fair and private
• Claims are recorded in the order our servers receive them, so nobody can jump the queue
• The public list shows first names and last initials only. Phone numbers are visible only to the host.
• Photos are checked automatically, and anyone can report a drop or block a host
• Delete your account and your data any time from your profile

dibbed doesn't take payments. Any price, pickup or arrangement stays between you and the host.

What’s new

• QR check-in: hosts tap Scan on their drop to check people in. Everyone gets a QR code under Profile, and in their confirmation emails.
• Claim for others: grabbing more than one spot? Put a different name on each.
• Sign up faster with Google or Apple, or just your name and email. Updates arrive by email.
• Longer item names and descriptions for sign-up lists.
• Clearer limits: "How many can one person claim?"
• Smoother start-up and small fixes.
