About this app

Bhashini application is developed to help Indian citizens translate content in different Indian languages. This application also helps Indian citizens to effectively communicate with other who do not know your language which will help reduce the language barrier in India.

Using this application users can:

1. Convert their voice to text.

2. Translate from one Indian language to another.

3. Generate voice from text.

4. Communicate with others who do not know your language.

Note: This is a Beta Application. In the upcoming weeks more features will be available to Indian Citizens.

Ratings and reviews

App is working good and hopefully accurate (have not yet used it in any real life scenario). The voice translation is slow, takes about 10 seconds to generate translation. Many would simply opt Google Translation instead, just for a faster output. Much work to do. But, appreciate the effort.

It's an excellent start for a translation app. However, the app does not recognise numbers and expects us to speak in the purest form of the language instead of adding English words to a vernacular language as we normally do.

Though it is a very good app, easy to operate, the voice is very feeble. The translated audio notes are not audible. Team should look into it ASAP.
