German <> English Dictionary offline and free. You can search both English and German words. You can search for words directly from "Internet Browser" or other Applications by using Sharing option. In the sharing option you will find "German Dictionary" and choosing "German Dictionary" will open the dictionary with the shared word so you need not type. Exiting from the dictionary will return you to "Internet Browser" or other Applications again. This is not only a Dictionary but also a learning tool. You can use this dictionary when you have no Internet connection. MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) option is available. There is autosuggestion so you need not type full words. You can also use Speech to Text feature. You can add words to the study plan and remove words from the study plan. When you start typing, you will see some words starting with the letters you typed. The dictionary searches in a database for the matching words. This can slow down typing in small handsets. Therefore in settings there is an option to turn that off. So low profile mobile handsets can turn off Auto search to type quickly. You will see a Dictionary icon on the notification bar to start the app quickly. On sharing text you will find the German Dictionary. This will be helpful to find out the meaning of any word.

1. Veey limited database; does lots of "guessing." 2. If you happen to type a German word into the "English search field" by mistake (hapoens OFTEN), and then realize your error, and click on the button to the left, to change the search into a "German word-search" instead, this app will then delete the word that you have already typed, and you will have to re-type the whole word again! 3. I gave feedback to the programmer two years ago, but he never even responded.

I really enjoy the "word of the day". I'm not sure that the translation is always 100% correct. I wish it would focus on the German as much as it does the English. How about providing the article (masculine, feminine, or neuter)? More examples of English uses of the word are provided than German. I do appreciate this app though!

Too many good things of this app to easily write with this extremely small(and annoying) mobile android keyboard. Suggestions(what I would like,in order of preference): - fullscreen when viewing the searched term; it is good that the translation stays fixed and y can scroll the other things like synonyms,etc, but everything(menu,tabs,etc) that is above the translation result should be hidden,until y make a new search.I use apps only in landscape mode.Thank Y.
