See what changed between two versions of a text with Diffivaro.

Paste your original and updated text, choose a comparison mode, and view additions and removals in one highlighted result. Useful for reviewing messages, notes, captions and small text revisions.

TWO COMPARISON MODES
Use word/whitespace mode to compare chunks of text separated by spaces. Whitespace is included so spacing changes can be detected. Choose whole-line mode to review lists and multiline text one line at a time.

CLEAR CHANGE HIGHLIGHTS
Added text is shown with a green highlight. Removed text uses a red highlight and strikethrough. Unchanged text remains readable between the changes.

CHECK THE CHANGE COUNTS
View the number of added and removed comparison units. Units are word/whitespace chunks or lines depending on your chosen mode; they are not a percentage score or grammar assessment.

SWAP, COPY AND SHARE
Swap the original and updated texts to reverse the comparison. Copy or share a plain-text report with ADDED, REMOVED and SAME labels. Clear the inputs when you are ready to compare something new.

EXACT COMPARISON
Diffivaro compares text case-sensitively. It normalizes CR and CRLF line endings to LF, while preserving other spacing and text differences. When you edit an input or change modes, the old result clears until you compare again.

OFFLINE BY DEFAULT
No account, internet connection, ads or analytics. Text is processed on your device, and Android’s share sheet lets you choose where a report goes.

Each input supports up to 12,000 UTF-16 units and 600 comparison units. If word mode exceeds the unit limit, try whole-line mode or a shorter passage. The app does not keep a permanent comparison history. Draft inputs can survive Android activity recreation.
