This application can be used to test your Android Auto head unit is behaving as expected in terms of click functionality. Head units from some manufacturers can become unresponsive to updates even though the clicks are being handled by the application. This can be seen when the application is launched on both the mobile device and Android Auto and the switch is toggled between on and off. The switch status should match between the two. The problem may not appear straight away but toggling the switch when safe to do so every so often will confirm if the Android Auto screen is still being updated.
