About this app

DigiLocker is a key initiative under Digital India, the Government of India's flagship program aimed at transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. Targeted at the idea of paperless governance, DigiLocker is a platform for issuance and verification of documents & certificates in a digital way, thus eliminating the use of physical documents. The DigiLocker website can be accessed at https://digitallocker.gov.in/.

I didn't used the app since last 5-6months n today when I tried to open I was automatically logged out. But when I try to login it doesn't even process it properly either via phone or via aadharcard number. I tried reinstalling but after installing I reopened the app then voila the app is still loading past 30-40min. Just amazing experience. Signal strength was also good even my handset is good latest OS, light cluster area. But wow app doesn't work. Critical bug!! Ignored Swiftly. Nice testing.

While it's such a great initiative to avail such an App for easy collection of verified documents. But, the issue most of us face is we can't edit our name while fetching a document, digilocker automatically pastes our name as it is on Aadhaar and we could not change it, due to which even documents that are actually available on database parameters aren't fetched. Please, provide the option to add names on our choice instead of presumably, using the one on Adhaar.

Horrendous app. Update, Switch off developer mode, switch off vpn, switch off this, switch off that, don't use sequential numbers as PIN, don't use this, don't use that. It's like this app is not for people, but people need to hire someone to run the app. Horrible user experience! I don't understand how can someone develop something like this when there are millions of apps to learn from. It's so difficult to set it up at home, there's no way it's going to work during emergencies or on the move.
