AppLab shows you what the apps on your phone are made of, in plain language.
Pick any installed app and AppLab lays out the facts:
• Permissions: what each app asks for, what it actually holds, and what that means.
• Capabilities: see every app that can read your location, use the camera, see other apps and more.
• Manifest: screens, background services, receivers and shared data, explained instead of dumped as XML.
• Signing: who signed the app and the certificate fingerprints.
• Trackers and SDKs: known analytics and advertising libraries found inside the app.
• Files: browse the APK, including resources, code and native libraries.
• Install source: whether an app came from a store, was pre-installed or was sideloaded.
• Device: a clear overview of your phone's software, security and hardware details.
AppLab shows facts, not verdicts. It doesn't score apps or label them good or bad. You decide.
Private by design:
• Everything runs on your device.
• AppLab has no internet permission and cannot send your data anywhere.
• No accounts, no ads, no analytics.
Works with on-device assistants: on supported Android 16 devices, AppLab offers read-only App Functions so your device assistant can answer questions like "which of my apps can read SMS?"
