The Husseini Encyclopedia
A Pioneering Knowledge Encyclopedia

• The Husseini Encyclopedia represents the first pioneering knowledge encyclopedia in the history of humankind, from our father Adam (peace be upon him) to the present day, dedicated to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his blessed uprising.

• Its author is His Eminence, the learned scholar and jurist, Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq bin Muhammad al-Karbasi, born in the holy city of Karbala in 1366 AH (1947 CE), whose noble lineage traces back to the disciple Malik bin al-Harith al-Ashtar al-Nakha'i, who was martyred in Egypt in 39 AH.

• The Husseini Encyclopedia was launched in London on the night of the eleventh of Muharram 1408 AH (September 5, 1987 CE).

• Its printed and manuscript editions comprise one thousand volumes across sixty fields of knowledge.

• 130 volumes of it have been published up to the beginning of 1447 AH (2025 CE).

• Its parts are published successively by the Hussaini Center for Studies in London, which was founded in 1414 AH (1993 CE).

• The total number of works by the patron of the Hussaini Encyclopedia has reached approximately three thousand printed and manuscript works in modern and ancient sciences, both transmitted and rational.
