State standards (GOST) were first developed by the Committee for Standardization of the Council of Labor and Defense, created in 1925. Then 80 years ago, have been developed and approved standards governing the production of virtually everything - from food to cars. These standards are binding and valid throughout the territory of the USSR.
Today there are about 25 thousand guests that extended to the territory of the CIS countries, such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine. Publication of texts, guests must be kept free of charge.

У меня на устройстве он в папке данных приложения создал таблицу на 30+ мегабайт, оказавшись вторым по размеру. Нет настроек, не очень понятно, как смотреть гост в приложении и можно ли, и так далее.

Спасибо за отзыв!
База данных нужна для работы приложения. Именно в ней и хранится вся полезная информация.
Чтобы понять принцип работы приложения - посмотрите, пожалуйста, видео, там довольно детально показаны все возможности приложения.

0. кэширование не работает 1. автоповорот ориентации 2. функция "пожаловаться на гост" (где картинка размытая, где чего-то не хватает, например в 5927 в таблице нет размера "da" (хотя в гугле полно нормальных копий этого госта с полной таблицей))
