About this app

DiBills remembers your bills and tells you what to pay, and when.

Open it and you see the month: what is overdue, what is coming, what you already paid. Tap a row and the bill is ticked. That is all.

WHAT IT DOES

• Bills that repeat: monthly, every two months, yearly, or just once.
• Fixed or variable amount. For variable ones you write an estimate, and you correct the figure when you pay.
• Partial payments: write what you actually paid, and the rest stays on the row.
• Categories with their own colour. Five come ready made, you make the rest.
• Reports by month, quarter or year, with a ring by category and a comparison against the period before.
• A history for every supplier: what you paid each time, and how much it changed since last time.
• ONE summary, daily, weekly or monthly, at the hour you choose. Not one notification per bill.
• A backup in a single file, which you keep wherever you like and load onto a new phone.
• Lei, euros, dollars, pounds or your own currency, with the symbol you write, even mixed in the same month: amounts are shown side by side, because nothing is converted.
• Romanian, English, German.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER

Your bills, payments and categories stay on your phone. They never reach me, because there is nowhere for them to go: there is no server. Everything the app does with your bills, it does offline, with the phone in airplane mode.

The only connection it opens is to Google Play, for the subscription: it asks whether it is paid for and what it costs. Not one of your bills, amounts or payments goes through it.

You are not asked for an account, you do not hand over an email, nothing is collected. The only other place your data goes is your own phone backup (Google), where their policy applies.

A BILL YOU GIVE UP IS NOT DELETED

Cancelled a subscription? Choose "I do not have this bill anymore": the future stops, and everything you paid stays whole, in the history and in the reports. Deleting throws the payments away too, and the app tells you how many disappear before you tap.

WHEN YOU TICKED BY MISTAKE

Tap the green circle to undo it, with a line telling you which payment goes away. And if you paid a different amount than the one written, tap the figure and write what it really was, even if the row is not ticked yet.

WHAT IT COSTS

For eligible accounts, the first 30 days are free, offered by Google Play, one time only. After that, the price Google Play shows in your own currency, with your country's taxes already in it.

If the subscription stops, the app stays readable: you still see your bills, payments and reports, and the backup can be exported at any time, free, forever. Nothing you wrote is locked behind a gate.

DiBills remembers your bills and tells you what to pay, and when. It reminds you before the due date, keeps track of payments, including ones paid in instalments, and shows you by category where the money goes.

Everything stays on your phone, in a single file. No account and no server: your data does not reach me. You can save a copy any time and move it to another phone.
