【Before You Start】
This app is a companion app for the BlueRider RadioLink accessory. Its primary function is to bridge communication between a two-way radio and a Bluetooth headset through your phone.
【Hardware Compatibility & Cable Requirements】
1. Dedicated Cable: This app requires the RadioLink Type-C audio cable to function.
2. Audio Bridging: Your phone must support USB-C audio input/output for the radio bridging feature to work.
3. Important Note: Some phone models with a 3.5mm headphone jack may still not support USB-C audio. Please verify your phone model's compatibility.
【Unlock Bridging】
If you are using a non-BlueRider Bluetooth headset, a one-time purchase is required to unlock the bridging feature.
【System Requirements】
Android 12 or above.
【Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService) Disclosure】
This app uses the Android AccessibilityService API solely for detecting physical PTT (Push-to-Talk) button presses.
Why this service is needed:
To allow your PTT button to work at any time — including when the app is in the background or the screen is off — Go Link uses the AccessibilityService to monitor hardware key events. This is essential for radio communication, letting you transmit instantly by pressing the PTT button.
How this service works:
- Only monitors key events from your designated PTT device
- Starts audio transmission when PTT is pressed; stops when released
This service does NOT:
- Read or collect any screen content
- Record, store, or transmit any user interactions, text input, or personal data
- Modify any user settings or system configurations
- Interact with or control other applications
- Perform remote call recording
You can enable or disable this service at any time via Android Settings > Accessibility > Go Link.
