⭐️⭐️⭐️½ – Solid app with room to grow The Team Generator app does a great job with its core function. I like that you can enter your classes, organize students by name, and then easily generate teams. One of my favorite features is the ability to remove absent students before creating groups — super helpful for day-to-day use. There are a couple of improvements that would make the app even better. It would be great to have an option to mark certain students who shouldn’t be placed on the same

Works well and the lists feature is great. I use it for our indoor bowls roll ups where being able to recall different "starter sets" of names is great as different people tend to play on different days. My only complaint is the team number slider is really fiddly to get the required size. + And - buttons would be far easier. An option to specify number of people per team would be handy too, rather than number of teams. Due to above I tend to go for 1 team then split the random list on to paper

While the app does generate random teams, it is very user unfriendly. Names of players are not saved automatically so if you switch apps for any reason (like to ask someone if they want to be included) you'll have to start over. There is no way to save teams and it is overall an unpleasant experience to use.
