Needs to be rethought from the customer perspective to be customer centric. RBS has bundled accounts many of which have Green Flag cover. As a customer however I can't actually be a green flag customer on the app, I still need to go via the bundled account helpdesk and then be forwarded on . This not only costs time but the lack of an account number prevents me registering on the app. Think about the customer first rather than how RBS business is structured.
Previously had the issue finding my policy that others had. Now it errors attempting to send code for password reminder. Utter rubbish. Edit 22/12/17 It works!! Finally able to set a password and find my policy. I'm yet to actually use the app in situation, but at least I have the option now.
Update: Tried again with new version AND called helpdesk who could not get it to work. Spent far too much time trying to get it to recognise / find my policy. Used various permutations of address, name etc. The app is also tedious in usage. Why do you need to add first line of address AND postcode. Useless as cannot use it if not recognised policy holder.
All worked fine until update. Would not let me log in so just did the obvious tech support rule number 1 rebooted my phone. Of course it then works like a treat
Despite several attempts over a number of weeks, still won't find my policy so app is little use to me. Surely there must be a simple way to do this.
This is now telling me my password has expired,it should never expire. I clicked on update password and got a technical difficulties message. The update prior to this was working fine.If it's not broken why fix it? You need to sack those who make the app and employ someone who knows what they are doing. Also, there is a spelling mistake in the app . It's forgotten, not forgotton.Everything about the app is unprofessional.
