The SOSS application is an Office Administration Management Information System that includes General Administration, Personnel, Planning, and Finance Management (Smart Office) used by employees at the Tanah Laut Regency Manpower and Industry Office. It also includes information systems and Public Services (Smart Services) that are the duties and functions of various Divisions within the Tanah Laut Regency Manpower and Industry Office.

SMART OFFICE
SOSS is developed as a supporting tool for daily administrative activities and public services, designed and packaged in an integrated manner across its sub-applications.
For example: the MONAS (Official Travel Monitoring) Application
The MONAS (Official Travel Monitoring) application is an administrative tool for implementing employee business travel activities. In addition to facilitating employee preparation of Work Order Letters (SPT), Official Travel Letters (SPD), Official Travel Reports (LHP), Official Travel Expense Details, and various other administrative documents, the MONAS application is also connected to the SUMAKER application (Incoming and Outgoing Letters) to provide the basis for issuing Work Order Letters (SPT) for official travel. The MONAS application is also connected to the KIJANG application (Budget and Financial Performance) to monitor budget availability for official travel, and to the RESTI application (Leave Register), which records all employee absences during working hours, including those for out-of-work travel.

The application concept, developed as an integrated work tool for employees at the Tanah Laut Regency Manpower and Industry Office, is a comprehensive solution for digitizing administration and public services that has been widely replicated by several other government agencies, both within the Tanah Laut Regency Government and outside the Regency.

SMART SERVICE
The Tanah Laut Regency Manpower and Industry Office is the technical implementer of public services in Manpower and Industry matters.
Regarding the implementation of public services in these two areas, the SOSS application, as an employee work tool, is supported by another public application that can be accessed by the Tanah Laut Regency community to access all types of services provided by the Tanah Laut Regency Manpower and Industry Office, both within the Department and those implemented by subordinate Technical Implementation Units (UPT), such as the Vocational Training Center (BLK).

Some of the leading innovations in this public service include the Job Market Application and the Industrial Market Application.
