Someone should test this app! After picking an article from the home page, the article is briefly displayed and then returns to the menu. The app, in general, has gone down hill since the change in owners. The print edition has also gone to pot in recent weeks. UNINSTALLING!
Must have a subscription I've used this app for quite a few years and always liked it. Now, after the last update you must have a subscription or pay for the digital edition to really use the app. The app already had plenty of advertisements and those don't appear to have been removed. There was no mention of this change in the update log. Uninstalling.
Frustrated I grew up in Columbus and enjoyed looking at a few articles about the hometown now and again. No longer available without subscription on this app. I have had this app from day 1 and most articles are now locked. Time to delete....
Subscription now required Have had this app for years. Liked it, but am not from the area. Only have a narrow interest in Ohio State stories as I am an alumni. Not going to pay when there are free options available for similar content.
Columbus Dispatch App Have had a subscription for 45 years. The app doesn't recognize me most of the time. I have changed the password and still have the same problem. Shame on you.
Somebody screwed up I've had this app for a long time as well as been a subscriber to the digital and print editions of The Dispatch but now that the app has gone to subscribers only it's brutal to use. It constantly asks for my login info and even after I login it refuses to let me read a story. The app sends me back to the home screen every time. I deleted the app and reinstalled it to no avail. Not a good way to start the new ownership.
