DisplayCircle TV is the player. Install it on an Android TV, scan the code on screen with your phone, and the television starts playing your loop: your own posters and videos, live information cards and, only if you choose, adverts from other local businesses that pay you for every verified play.
WHAT GOES ON THE SCREEN
• Your own posters and videos: your menu, your offers, your opening hours
• Live cards, included free: UK government announcements and travel advice, the weather for your postcode, London transport status, exchange rates and markets, an on-this-day card and a clock
• Your QR menu as a board, kept in step with the page your customers scan
• Notices you type from your phone in a few seconds
• Adverts from other venues on the network, if you want them; you approve every one
YOU ARE ALWAYS IN CONTROL
You decide how much of the loop is open to advertising, from none of it up to 80%. Every advert is approved by you before it can appear, and you can pause or remove one at any time from the DisplayCircle app or the website.
BUILT FOR A SCREEN THAT RUNS ALL DAY
• The panel is kept awake and the player runs edge to edge, with no browser furniture
• It comes back by itself after a power cut
• If the internet drops it shows a plain message and retries by itself
• Press INFO or MENU on the remote for the diagnostics a support call needs
• Videos play with sound if you enable it in the screen's settings
HOW THE MONEY WORKS
Joining is free and running your own screens is free, always. When you show another member's advert you keep 70% of the price you set. A credit is worth 10p whether you buy one or cash one out. Spend what you earn advertising on other screens, or withdraw it to a UK bank account.
You are only ever paid for plays the screen can prove. Every advert carries a signed, single-use token, and a credit moves only when that token comes back with a believable duration and a live heartbeat showing the screen was awake and in view. A television switched off at the wall earns nothing, and its advertiser is charged nothing.
NO HARDWARE TO BUY
There is no set-top box to buy and no subscription. An account is needed to pair a screen; create one free at displaycircle.co.uk or in the DisplayCircle app.
