Drownward is a one-thumb underwater cave-diving dread roguelite. Descend into pitch-black flooded caverns on a single tank of air, squeeze through suffocating rock constrictions, follow your guideline through zero-visibility silt-outs, and decide at every junction: bank your treasure and surface now, or risk everything one chamber deeper.

WHAT YOU DO IN DROWNWARD:

• DIVE INTO THE BLACK WATER
Navigate deep flooded labyrinths with responsive one-thumb drag steering. Glide through atmospheric underwater caverns with volumetric light shafts, realistic fluid drag, and immersive acoustic depth attenuation.

• SQUEEZE THROUGH TIGHT CONSTRICTIONS
When the passage narrows to inches, keep your composure. Perform alternating-axis wiggle swipes to scrape your tank through jagged rock constrictions while the camera pulls tight, your breath rate spikes, and low-air tunnel vision sets in.

• DON'T LOSE THE GUIDELINE IN A SILT-OUT
Disturbing the cavern floor billows blinding silt plumes that drop visibility to near zero in seconds. Keep your hand on your cyan guideline and follow its glints through the murk to find your way back to the surface.
