There are plenty of bowling games. None of them tell you why the strike missed.
■ The lane is covered in oil
39 boards by 60 zones — 2,340 cells, each with its own oil thickness. On oil the ball skids; the moment it touches dry wood it starts to hook. In this game the stage is not a map, it is an oil pattern. House, Short, Long, Flat, Pro series — the same patterns used in real competition.
■ The ball goes where the physics sends it
Skid, hook, roll. The phases are not scripted; they emerge from the slip at the contact point. Three published measurements of skid distance at different friction coefficients are reproduced within 1.5 m.
■ The reason card tells you why
"Move three boards left." That advice is not written prose. The game re-throws your shot about thirty times with the same physics and only reports the correction that actually worked.
■ The lane changes as you play
Every shot carries oil forward from the line it rolled on. By the eighth frame the line that worked earlier does not work any more. You have to move. That is the real skill this game asks for.
■ The same throw always gives the same result
Not one line of randomness. There is nowhere for luck to hide.
■ What is inside
· 80 stages across 6 chapters, each with a pattern and a goal
· 8 split rescue challenges (7-10, 4-6-7-10 and more)
· Your numbers — average, strike rate, pocket rate, entry angle, breakpoint
· Three assist levels: Beginner shows the path and the oil, Normal stops at the breakpoint, Pro shows nothing. Only the guides disappear; the physics never changes.
· 12 languages
Once the ball leaves your hand, nothing you do matters. Just like real bowling.
Read the oil on the lane, find your line. It tells you why the strike missed.
