PhoneTidy sorts the apps installed on your phone into 12 groups automatically (messaging & contacts, social, photo & camera, video & music, games, finance & payments, shopping, maps & transport, schedule & notes & work, health & fitness, learning & books & news, life & tools) and shows them as tabs in a single home screen widget.

As your app list grows, the home screen gets cluttered, and making folders by hand takes time. PhoneTidy places newly installed apps into a group for you; you only pick a group once for the few apps it cannot place.

■ Key features
· Automatic grouping: rules on your device and a built-in dictionary place your installed apps into 12 groups.
· Pending group: apps it cannot place wait in their own group. Tap once to choose a group and it stays pinned. You can switch back to automatic at any time.
· Home screen widget: flip between groups with the previous and next tabs and tap an icon to launch the app. There is an edit button, and tapping the title refreshes the widget.
· Your home screen stays as it is: PhoneTidy does not rearrange your icons. You just add a widget next to the home screen you already use.
· Keeps up with changes: installed and removed apps are picked up when the app is open, when you use the widget, and about every 15 minutes in the background. Timing can vary with your device.
· A classification rate card and 12 languages

■ Widget decoration (Premium)
Change the widget's background opacity, the number of columns (3, 4 or 5) and the icon size. Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks decoration and hides the banner on the app's main screen. You can also watch a rewarded video to try decoration for 24 hours.

■ Good to know
· Your list of installed apps is used on your device only, to build the groups. PhoneTidy does not send it to a server.
· A banner ad is shown on the app's main screen only. Ads are never placed in the widget.
· PhoneTidy is not a storage cleaner and not a launcher.
