The game has potential, but as a heads-up, it lures you in big time. You get about 15 ad-free levels, then it asks you to rate them, then you get an ad after every single level you complete. The game is fun which is why I gave it 2 stars, but the ads make it unbearable.

So far it's pretty fun. Loving the feel of chess with a new vibe and puzzles to it. 👍 *edit* Was 5 stars, because when I started there was only the small permanent ad at the bottom. But, once I progressed and the game asked me to rate it, I started getting pop up ads after almost every round. Still a fun game, so for now I'll keep playing. *edit again* As I was playing more, the ads became even more frequent to the point of an ad after every round. I was really enjoying it before the ads. Sad.

Executed nicely enough to warrant a one-time payment, which I did. 2 things keep the app from 5 stars: 1. The weekly event is fun, but you start to see the same puzzles again and again. Especially those mate-in-4s, more than half, if not all, of them were re-used from previous events. 2. My event badges collection doesn't update after the first time. I had achieved higher levels in subsequent recurring events but the badges in my collection stayed the same after the event ends. Frustrating.
