For those looking for a tone generator, with a simple and intuitive layout, this is it. Tweaked my sound system in my truck via blue tooth with this. I've done stereo systems, adjusted sound cards, even showed a coworker how crappy their $200 headphones really are.
pretty neat... nice and small. i like the subwoofer sweep, and it will work for higher frequency sweeps also. like the controls, but it would be nice if you could touch then hold the + and - buttons to sweep up and down, and still maintain the 1hz jumps by just touching once. this app is great for testing the frequency response of speakers and sound equipment.
If you turn this on at high frequency in class, you may get cussed out. Speaking from personal experience.
Used to let my line manager experience tinnutus the way I do. 6 minutes at 3300 hertz was enough. Now she knows what 8 hours at work sounds like to me.
OK. But seems to send occaisional sharp loud crackles through the system as well as the test tone. Not sure if these are 100% speaker friendly
I was able to determine my hearing threshold and my relatives and friends. Its great for annoying people too!
-added buttons to increase and decrease frequency by 1 Hz;
-left and right channels now can work separately;
-now you can set range for subwoofer test;
