[Investment Fees, Risks, etc.]
The trading of domestic stocks, domestic ETFs, REITs, depositary receipts, beneficiary certificates of beneficiary certificate issuing trusts, and domestic and foreign listed stocks (hereinafter referred to as "listed securities") does not guarantee principal or profits. Principal losses may occur due to fluctuations in stock prices or a deterioration in the creditworthiness of issuers. Foreign stocks, etc., may also incur losses due to fluctuations in exchange rates, even if their prices remain stable.
Domestic margin trading requires a margin of at least 30% of the trading amount and at least 300,000 yen (margin exceeding 30% may be required for some stocks, such as leveraged ETFs, depending on the market category, market conditions, etc.). Trading with a margin of up to approximately 3.3 times the margin is possible. In margin trading, the amount available for trading is larger than the margin you deposit. Therefore, losses may occur due to fluctuations in prices or the above-mentioned indices, or a deterioration in the issuer's creditworthiness, and these losses may exceed the amount of your margin.
For foreign stock margin trading, a margin of at least 50% of the trading value, but not less than the equivalent of 300,000 yen, is required, in US dollars. Trading amounts up to approximately 2.0 times the margin are permitted. In foreign stock margin trading, the amount available for trading is larger than the margin you deposit. Therefore, losses may occur due to fluctuations in prices or the above-mentioned indices, or a deterioration in the issuer's creditworthiness, and these losses may exceed the amount of your margin.
The provisions of Article 37-6 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act do not apply to the purchase and sale of listed securities, and therefore the cooling-off period is not applicable.
There are no account management fees or account registration fees, but you may be required to pay certain fees and necessary expenses for each transaction.
Important Points to Note When Trading Leveraged and Inverse ETFs and ETNs
The rate of increase or decrease in the value of leveraged and inverse ETFs and ETNs generally does not correspond to the rate of increase or decrease of the underlying index multiplied by a certain factor. Therefore, continued investment over a long period of time may not achieve the expected investment results, and may not be suitable for medium- to long-term investment objectives. Furthermore, there may be risks specific to each investment vehicle and method.
The risks listed above are representative of the risks involved in trading. Please carefully read and understand the pre-contract documents and terms and conditions before trading. The final decision to trade or invest is at your own discretion and responsibility.
