About this app

The Virtual Keypad™ App gives you control of your security system on-the-go. Connect to your home or business system to arm or disarm, control lights, locks, thermostats and more, easily with your app. Even view and record video from your security cameras.

With the Virtual Keypad App, you can:

Ratings and reviews

Seems adequately functional. But is also down quite a bit over the past 3 years. And doesn't update quick enough, sometimes it seems. So a door will appear locked when it's unlocked and vice versa. But it hasn't been terrible enough to switch to another system. So probably could improve a bit for all of us out here

I used to be able to use texting to arm and disarm my system. But then they came out with this app and turned off the texting direct feature. Not sure why. Now I have to open the app and wait for it to load, then I have to connect to the system wait while that happens, then I have to push a button to arm or disarm the system and wait some more. It was mush easier and faster to text the system. Assuming the app works. I sometimes have to reboot my phone to make the app work. Not convenient.

Just about 90% of the time does not connect. It times out. I have to close and reopen over and over often more than 10 times till it finally connects. I also have to redo the arming cause most of the time it will say it arms then i check it later and its disarmed. Update: 6/4/23 app is still horrible. Will only connect quickly late in the day around 7pm or early morning around 5am. Besides that it takes up to 30 times to connect. Always times out. UPDATE: still sucks...lol
