Ratings and reviews

If you plan to use the character builder of the app, don't, it's not good and buggy. It's the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. If you just want a list of all 5e 2014-2024 spells, the ability to search and sort through them quickly, then the app is perfect. I noticed some spelling mistakes here and there, but nothing problematic. I've only been using it for this and have had no issues. The ads at the time of making this review are few and far between, as well as pretty unnoticeable.

Love the app. Even though it's inaccurate, I wish all of the classes had a "Known" section instead of just the wizard class like the 5e app had. I think this section works very well to help you plan out spells you want to take on level ups and collect spells you often swap between for casters that prepare different spells every day like Druids and Clerics. Still a phenomenal app. I'll be a forever customer!

This version has so many less spells from so many less books than the original app did. Whenever I would use the last app I had faith that I had all of the spells from all the various 5e supplemental material was in one place. Now there are much less spells to choose from. And there used to be an option to choose which spell books to pull from or not pull from. I paid for a one month subscription to see if the option to filter by different spell books was hidden behind a paywall, but no. AWaste
