Ratings and reviews

The new update makes it useless. you can't select a category and you need to scroll past all the irrelevant stories and adds to get to a section that you are looking for. want sports? well now you gotta scroll through 30 not sports to find it and then the section doesn't even have a link to dedicate page for just sports, it's a scroll through. there isn't a search function. I'm uninstalling it because it's just easier to use a news website than this hot trash of an app. it's not local looking.

Most of the stories I see are 1-2 minute videos. I usually prefer a written story anyway, but the mandatory 15/30 second, no skippable ad, really doesn't make it feel worth it. On top of that, when a notification is more than an hour old, tapping on it will open the app but NOT take me to the story. I usually can't find the story I'm looking for based on the notification.

Need to work on commercial volume regulation. Originally was excited to integrate this app into my morning/evening routines, however likely will be deleting and looking for a different app. For anyone looking to have the news on in the background as you multitask to get ready, you don't want to have to keep going back and forth to lower the volume when the NOTICABLY louder commercials come on, and then have to run back to turn the volume up when the news is back. Volume regulations are ignored.
