Turn paper into useful PDF documents with a focused Android scanning workflow.

Scan page after page
Capture up to 100 pages in one session — the document is saved as a single PDF right away, and you can add, reorder, crop or remove pages afterwards without rescanning.

Edit without losing the source
Crop, rotate and apply color, grayscale or black-and-white filters. Original page images remain available while PDFs are rebuilt from your edits.

Recognize text
Use on-device Latin-script OCR or configure optional AI recognition with your own API key. Recognition can create a searchable PDF and a matching HTML document that opens inside the app.

Add signatures
Draw a signature or import a transparent image. Add multiple signatures, then move, resize and rotate each one with visible controls. Signing creates a separate copy instead of overwriting the original.

Create smaller files
Choose compact, balanced or maximum PDF quality and optimize existing documents when you need a smaller file.

Stay informed
Clear progress indicators explain when pages are being prepared, recognized, optimized or saved.

Privacy-focused by design
Documents are stored in the app's private local workspace. There are no ads or Doc Scanner accounts. Optional AI recognition sends selected pages only after confirmation.

Doc Scanner 2027 supports PDF sharing through Android, Recently Deleted recovery, HTML text viewing, Select all and Copy all.
