Flying with a dog starts with one question: does this airline take your dog in the cabin, and up to what weight. Dog Flight Guide is an airline dog policy database that answers it for 40+ airlines in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, without ten browser tabs.
Airline info at a glance
• Cabin, cargo, both, or no dogs at all
• Maximum weight for a dog in the cabin and in the hold, carrier or kennel included
• Carrier and kennel sizes in centimeters and inches, where the airline lists them
• What the pet fee is in the cabin and in the hold, as real prices
• Breed restrictions, snub-nosed breeds included, and whether they apply in the cabin or the hold
• How many dogs may share one carrier
• Whether assistance dogs are accepted
• A short summary of each airline's dog policy, plus tips for before you fly
• A Dog-Friendly Score from 0 to 100, so two airlines can be compared in a second
It works without a connection
The whole database is downloaded once and kept on your device. At the check-in desk, in the air, or abroad without roaming, every airline dog policy is still there, including airlines you have never opened.
Narrow it down to your flight
Filter by region and by how your dog is allowed to travel, sort by score, popularity or name, search by airline name or IATA code, and star the airlines you are choosing between so they stay at the top of the list.
Where the numbers come from
Every pet policy links to the airline's own page and shows the date we last checked it. Policies change more often than you would think, which is why the source is always one tap away. Confirm with the airline before you book.
English and German, both available offline. Phones and tablets.
Dog Flight Guide is an independent project, started by a dog owner for dog owners. It is not affiliated with any airline, and no airline can pay for a better score.
