About this app

Most shift apps make you enter every day by hand. DutyWheel works the other way around: tell it your rotation once, and it lays the entire year out for you.

WHY OFFICERS AND FIREFIGHTERS USE IT

If you work a Kelly schedule, a 48/96, a 24/48, Pitman, or 4 on 4 off, your year is already decided by the pattern — so why type it in day by day? Choose the rotation, mark the day your cycle started, point at the row that matches your crew, and DutyWheel fills the calendar through next year. Three taps, done. There is no account to create and nothing to configure first.

MORE THAN A SHIFT CALENDAR

A plain shift work calendar tells you when you work. DutyWheel also keeps the records that pile up around the job:

• Overtime, logged in seconds — hours, category, and an optional note attached straight to the day it happened.
• Court dates, with a warning that thinks like you do. If a subpoena lands on a duty day, you'll see the conflict. And if it lands the morning after a night shift or a 24-hour tour that began the previous day, DutyWheel flags that too — because walking into court on zero sleep is a conflict even when the clock says otherwise.
• Shift swaps and paybacks — who covered for you, who you covered, and where the balance stands.
• A monthly summary that pulls hours, overtime entries, court appearances, and swap balance into one view.

WHEN THE SCHEDULE CHANGES

Real rosters drift. A traded day, a training block, a vacation week — edit just those days and they sit on top of your pattern. The rest of the year stays put, and any edited day can be flipped back to the original rotation later.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE

DutyWheel has no server, no account system, and no analytics. It makes zero network requests — not a policy promise, an architectural fact. A duty roster reveals when your house sits empty; a court date tracker names cases you're tied to. That information stays on your device, full stop.
Free. No ads, no locked features, no upgrade screen.

DutyWheel is a record-keeping tool for your own reference. It does not calculate pay and does not provide legal advice.
A police shift calendar that builds your whole year from one rotation pattern.
