About this app

DOG Pin is a map-based dog spot discovery app that exclusively features "dog-friendly spots" in the five prefectures of the Chugoku region (Hiroshima, Okayama, Yamaguchi, Shimane, and Tottori). The app's "digital membership card" allows owners to easily display their dog's profile and vaccination expiration dates, making it a user-friendly app designed to reduce hassle for both owners and businesses.

■ Three problems DOG Pin solves

【1. No more "Where did I put my paper vaccination certificate?"】
Proof of rabies and combination vaccinations is required at dog parks and accommodations. Previously, this involved the hassle of searching for the original paper document or a photo in your smartphone's photo library. With DOG Pin, a "digital membership card" is generated within the app from registered certificates, displaying your dog's photo, name, breed, weight, and vaccination status (green: valid / yellow: nearing expiration/under review / red: expired) at a glance using signal badges. Simply show this screen at the reception desk. Staff can proceed with entry with confidence by simply checking the green badge, without having to read detailed dates. [2. Discover "Are there any dog-friendly shops in this area?" on a map]
Dog cafes, dog runs, pet-friendly restaurants, pet hotels, pet-friendly accommodations, grooming salons, veterinary clinics, pet shops, and dog-friendly parks—10 categories of spots are displayed on the map. Pins are shown in order of proximity to your current location, so you can intuitively find places to "stop by during a walk" or "places to have lunch with your dog while traveling." You'll discover nearby shops you didn't know about, which you wouldn't find with a list search.

[3. Carefully selected listings focused on the Chugoku region]
Instead of a superficial nationwide coverage, we carefully list only spots in the five prefectures of the Chugoku region: Hiroshima, Okayama, Yamaguchi, Shimane, and Tottori. Each shop has 15 detailed items of information that are truly necessary for dog owners, such as dog size acceptance policy (small only/medium to large/all sizes welcome), dog-friendly seating type (indoor/terrace, etc.), dog menu, water station, leash hook, off-leash space, cart-friendly, photo spots, and parking availability.
