About this app
DolarApp shows you the dollar exchange rates you actually use, all on one screen: the official rate, the market average, and what's being paid right now on Binance and Bybit P2P. Choose your country above, and the entire app will update accordingly: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND
• Your country's exchange rates at a glance. The official rate, the market average, and the P2P rate, each showing its change compared to yesterday.
• Eight countries. Argentina with the official rate, the blue rate, and other exchange rates. Venezuela with the BCV dollar and euro rates, averages, and the gap. Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, and Bolivia with their official rates and the P2P rate. Cuba with the dollar, the euro, and the MLC (freely convertible currency) of the informal market, with data from elTOQUE.
• A real calculator. Enter an amount and convert it in your country's currency using your chosen rate. Change the direction with a tap and copy the result to paste it wherever you need.
• Your own rate. If you bought your dollars at a specific price, enter it and the calculator will use that rate instead of the market rate.
• Historical data with a graph. See how each rate has evolved over the last week, month, quarter, or semester, with the period variation already calculated.
• Rates from another day. Choose a date and the cards will show you the closing rate for that day; the calculator converts using that rate. This is useful for reconciling something you paid last week.
• Rate change alerts. Choose which rate to monitor and at what price, and we'll notify you even with the app closed. These are part of the Basic plan.
• End-of-day notification. If you activate this feature, we'll tell you the closing dollar rate every night.
• Share the rate as an image, ready to send via WhatsApp or post wherever you like.
• Works offline. The latest rates you downloaded are still there, with their date, even if you lose signal.
HOW WE CALCULATE P2P PRICES
We don't use the first ad in the book: it's usually a promotional ad or has a minimum balance, and it's not representative of anything. We filter out ads with no real liquidity and calculate the median of the remaining ones, discarding outliers. That's why the number you see is similar to what you get when you go to trade.
FREE, AND JOINING IS OPTIONAL
You can use the entire app without registering. If you log in with your account, your settings and plan follow you to any phone.
The free version shows ads and is fully functional: the rates, calculator, and history are never paid for. The Basic plan removes ads and adds alerts, and those who want to support the project can make a one-time lifetime payment. Everything is billed through Google Play and canceled there.
