Fileco is a simple file converter for Android. Choose a file, let Fileco detect its type, select a compatible output format, and save the result to Downloads/Fileco or a folder you choose with Android's system picker.
Your files stay private:
- File contents are analysed and converted locally on your device.
- DolomiteByte operates no conversion backend and does not receive your files.
- Results are saved through Android in Downloads/Fileco or your selected folder.
- Your converted-file history and settings remain on your device.
- No Fileco account is required.
How it works:
1. Choose a file with Android's system picker.
2. Select an output format supported by the installed app version.
3. Unlock the specifically disclosed conversion.
4. Create the result locally and save it to your configured folder.
The free version may use a fixed banner, voluntarily started rewarded ads, and a standard Google AdMob ad when you explicitly tap Convert for a free job. If the standard ad is not already available at that action, it is skipped and conversion starts immediately. Before a rewarded ad, Fileco clearly states which conversion it unlocks. Clicking an ad is never required. Loading an ad requires a network connection, a permitted privacy state, and available ad inventory. File processing itself remains local. Premium jobs unlock only after a rewarded ad is actually earned; no-fill, errors, or closing early keep them locked so they can be retried later.
Not every theoretical file combination can be converted meaningfully. Encrypted, DRM-protected, damaged, or unsupported content may be rejected. Conversion can change quality, layout, metadata, transparency, fonts, or embedded content. Keep important originals and check every result before further use.
